for those who don’t watch today was the last day of the race and all threw the race team radio shack has been wearing black shirts with the number 28 in tribute to the 28 million people with cancer and on the last day the whole team had to change there uniforms because it violated some uniform code i think it sucks live strong lance
It just shows what kind of a world we live in when some stupid uniform code is placed over a cancer tribute!

After stage 5, why wasn’t that HLC Colombia dude (who won) wasn’t awarded the yellow jersey? i dont rly understand how these jerseys work…. i thought the winner of the stage gets the yellow jersey?
Also another question… Do the riders who win the jerseys (yellow, green poker dot, white) wear those jerseys for the next stage?
There is not a jersey for the stage winner.
The yellow Jersey is worn by the rider who is leading the whole race (the lowest aggregate time of all the stages that have been completed so far)
The white Jersey is worn by the young rider (under 25) with the lowest aggregate time.
The green Jersey is worn by the rider that has accumulated the most points in the stages that have been completed so far (points are awarded for high finishes in a stage and for being the first past various intermediate points during each days stage)
The polka dot Jersey is worn by the rider with the most points in the King of the Mountains competition (points are awarded based on the order in which riders go over the top of hill and mountains – the steeper and longer the climb, the more points)
After each stage the Jerseys are awarded to the rider leading each competition, who then wears it for the next stage.
There ware also various other awards:
The most combative rider in each stage has a red ‘dossard’ for the next stage. The dossard is where the riders number is mounted on the bike.
