tour de france champs
What is a good group meeting place near, the “Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel” RER Line C station in Paris, France?

When you exit from the station you’ll be only about 400 meters from the Eiffel tower. You could just walk down the Quai Branly and meet there. After all, its a hard landmark to miss.

You could also walk down the rue Jean Rey (the street which is between the Gymnasium Emile Antoine and the Australian Embassy…you should be able to identify from the station exit) , cross the Avenue Suffren, continue on the Avenue Octave Greard across the Thomy Thierry Allee onto the grassy Champs de Mars which is behind the Eiffel Tower. Its not usually very crowded there and there are park benchs scattered around.

Although depending on the time of day, the time of year and the weather its usually pretty crowded everywhere in that area and perhaps you might do the tour guide thing and carry a distinctive item like a flag so people can identify you if this is a group of people who are not already acquainted.
