What is the time margin for a rider to be inside the elimination time in a Tour de France stage?
Robbie McKewen got eliminated in one of the mountain stage, How far was he from the elimination time?? He was a contender for the green jersey….
It is all done with calculatons depending on the type of stage.
Here is a website that gives a detailed breakdown of how they come up with the times. its a little old, but I’m sure it hasn’t appreciably changed.
